N. Korea to issue human rights report amid alleged abuses

North Korea will issue a report on human rights conditions in the country, Pyongyang's official media said Monday,
in what appears to be its efforts to refute the United Nations' accusations of rights violations.

"A report on human rights is to be published in the DPRK (North Korea) by the country's Association for Human Rights Studies in the near future,"
the North's state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) said in an English-language dispatch without releasing the exact date.
